I recently used the book Enveloped in Light: A Tallit Sourcebook by Dov Peretz Elkins and Steven Schwarzman to prepare for teaching about tallit. (In this case, I used many parts of the book to prepare a lesson for a pre-bat mitzvah tzitzit-tying party for girls and moms – a wonderful new ritual.) The book is thorough, full of source material, halakhic discussions, spiritual resources – with good new stuff on a familiar subject. A terrific resource for our libraries!
